Comics & mini's

Ok so I didn't do alot this week painting wise, was going to get my battle automata painted wednesday but something came up so he's still standing in qeue :p.

Last sunday I went to a crazy doubles tournament for Warhammer 40k together with my brother.
It was the first time since a long time he have been able to play, so we played and in the mean time I was trying to teach him as much as I could and explain why I made certain decisions.

We played quiete straightforward armies, Chaos daemons for me and Chaos Space marines for my brother all Nurgle and moving 12" forward each turn it all sounded good.
Except that every battle we got shot to bits :p, but oh well we had loads of fun.

Orderd some magnetic bases from Back 2 base-ix (company from Australia) for my discs of tzeentch and my screamers for my daemon army i'm trying to get ready.
When I get their materials I will make a little review of it here aswell, if you want to see their product line you can click the link below.

Also bought some pigments from MIG so will make a little review of that aswell

On the comics side this week I've been really excited to read the news that Spiderman is no longer in hands of Sony but back in the loving arms of Marvel Studios.
No I really hope they use him in Captain America Civil war.

As last some pictures from my Orboros army I have painted over the past month.
Haven't decided on what to do with their bases tough

See you all next week.

Projects projects everywhere!!!

Ok after a month of not doing anything with my blog, I finally found time and ideas.

First of all I am participating in a league of 30k gamers.
We build a 1000p Warhammer 30k army and paint everything.
So every month we have to paint 1 unit, but because I didn't find time for it last month there are 2 units on my painting table for my Mechanicum Army and 1 already assembled.

Battle automata
Also had a bit of a burnout with 40k,but been able to kick start my engine with a new army that has been tempting me for a very very long time.
I'm going to make a Daemon army with not one, not two but three deathstars.
It will consist of the screamer star, drone star and a hidden gem in my eyes the find star.
Already build my 2 tzeentch heralds and started work on my slaanesh herald

Herald of Slaanesh mount

First herald of Tzeentch

Second Herald of Tzeentch

From now on I'll try and update this blog more frequently, so see you all next time

Start of a year, start of a blog

With a New Year people set their goals for the year and I am not different.
It's been a long time that I thought about starting a blog and said to myself, hey lets give it a shot.

What will I do with this blog, well first of all it will be so people who want to track my progress on my miniature games can do so.
And also in time I will make some reviews on comics, films, series and games.

What progress will you be able to follow?

In the world of warmachine/hordes
I have found my fun again with my Khador army and will try alot of things with my strakov and zerkova army (wich will make me paint allot again) and I shall do my best to do a battle report now and then.
I also have started on a Circle of Orboros army (yay more painting), so allso battle reports for the hippies of this game.

In the world of 40k and 30k
In 40k I will mostly work on my Orks (the never ending army) and I also have enough work left on my Astra Millitarum.
This year I will also share some love with my Ravenwing army which will need allot of time and effort.
And for 30k we are doing a tale of x gamers with some people in Belgium and I have chosen the mighty Mechanicum so will paint and play allot with them this year.

In other gaming worlds
I'm participating in a Dreadball league with the nameless ones under the team name "Cthulhu for President"
Bolt Action is also eagerly awaiting some love to get painted and of that I represent The Partisans.

So yea mayor things to do and not a clue if I will be able to do it all this year, but no pressure.
